Located in Vilasobroso, in the municipality of Mondariz, Sobroso Castle raises from a granite rocky promontory on the elevations of Mount Landín, at 334 metres over sea level.

VISIT THE CASTLE
One of the main objectives of the recent museum conversion is to highlight the importance of the castle, its history and its surroundings.
Through this project, Pontevedra Provincial Council aims to create a museum that is respectful towards its environment, although filling the spaces with emotion. The philosophy behind the design provides a multi-sensory experience by superposing audio-visual elements to the castle's architecture in an ephemeral manner, transforming the spaces through the use of images, lighting and sound.
