Sobroso Castle is a monumental gem, whose state of conservation makes it appear to be frozen in time. Visiting it is a perfect plan, suitable for everyone.
This innovative project, carried out by Pontevedra Provincial Council, bets on new technologies to tell the fascinating history of the site and the personalities that lived there, by means of an enjoyable and interpretative museum conversion.
The itinerary through the seven exhibition halls of the museum is 50 minutes long. Online reservations are recommended to ensure your spot, as tours are guided, programmed, and operate in small groups.
The price for the general ticket is 4 €. Discounts are displayed both online, on our website, and at the visitor reception desk. In the ticket office of the castle only card is accepted as a means of payment.
There is easy access via the N-120 road. You can get almost to the top by car, where a small car park is available. There is also a properly signposted, separate access for buses.
Make the most of your visit and walk through the botanical trail. Thanks to the efforts of the Pontevedra Provincial Council, the native tree species got back to the place where they belong historically.
At last, the fruit they bear feeds the forest of Sobroso as it used to.
