Trails
The interesting interpretative contents along the trail allow you to immerse in a fascinating world of nature in a rigorous, accessible and entertaining manner. It is organised around seven spots to discover many singular plants and the environment created around them. The route allows to enjoy the marvellous contrast between the hardness of stone, resistant and immobile for centuries, and the pace and fragility of life surrounding the castle and its walls.
A world under our feet
Lichens, a symbiotic association
It really feels as if there were two museums coexisting in Sobroso: the first one, the medieval fortress, preserving its magnificent appearance, where you will spend time with both its ancient and most recent inhabitants. The second one, outside, shaped around the castle and creating a living and ever-changing museum the longer one stops to contemplate the small details, and which will offer a different experience on each visit.
